About this specimen
Clear-looking fluorite and quartz build a pale cluster above a rough gray-white base. Broad transparent-looking faces occupy the upper half, while smaller crystals gather along the lower edges. Several larger forms overlap closely, producing internal reflections and pale cloudy areas through the center. The closer photograph shows a shallow dark gap at one side and a small crystal projecting near the rim. This upright association emphasizes changes in face size and clarity across the crystal-covered upper surface. Dimensions: 3.5 × 2 × 5 cm / 35 × 20 × 50 mm / 1.38 × 0.79 × 1.97 inch. Estimated weight: 37 g / 1.31 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
