About this specimen
Long clear prismatic calcite crystals rise from a pale green fluorite block from Zhejiang. The tallest crystal stands near one edge with a bright termination, while shorter parallel prisms step down across the upper surface. White calcite growth fills the transition between the transparent-looking points and the soft green cubic host. The reverse view shows the fluorite's broad body and the crystal cluster wrapping around its top rather than forming a flat coating.
