About this specimen
Cream and pale peach calcite crystals gather into a small rounded group. Pointed outer faces create an uneven rim, while darker fine flecks and a few golden pyrite areas interrupt the softer colors. The central crystals are closely packed, with shorter forms partly hidden beneath the upper layer. A second view reveals the slight warmth of the calcite and the sparse metallic detail near one edge of the compact cluster. Dimensions: 4.2 × 2 × 3.7 cm / 42 × 20 × 37 mm / 1.65 × 0.79 × 1.46 inch. Estimated weight: 35 g / 1.23 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
