About this specimen
One sharp, glassy deep-purple fluorite cube sits in the centre of a bed of frosted quartz, with a second, more translucent purple cube beside it and thin bronze pyrrhotite plates at the contact. Small green-phantom quartz points surround the fluorite.
Yaogangxian's classic combination in a thumbnail: purple fluorite, quartz and pyrrhotite from the most famous mine in China. The main cube is complete and undamaged on the visible faces.
