Zhejiang transparent green fluorite at 15.5 cm and 1126 g; a large cabinet piece with exceptional colour.
Fluorite crystallises in the cubic system and is prized for its saturated colour, glassy lustre and the way zoned phantoms appear when the crystals are back-lit.
Zhejiang's Jiangshan and Qingtian districts are known for babingtonite, prehnite, fluorite and quartz from volcanic-hosted veins.
