About this specimen
Deep green malachite and pale blue chrysocolla spread through a rugged DR Congo matrix. Rounded malachite groups fill cavities beside chalky turquoise crusts, while brown host rock remains visible along the broken edges and between the mineralized layers. The broad hand-held specimen has several recessed pockets and contrasting surfaces. Two views show the blue-green distribution, botryoidal texture, and substantial natural matrix form.
