About this specimen
A large block of white to pale grey feldspar crystals with stacks of bronze-green mica books growing across the top and sides; the feldspar faces are big and blocky and the mica catches light in pearly flashes.
Pakistani pegmatite feldspar with mica at 17 cm and 1.4 kg, a display block for a shelf rather than a cabinet drawer.
It measures 17.7 × 14.3 × 6.4 cm (6.97 × 5.63 × 2.52 in) and weighs 1440 g (50.8 oz), a large cabinet-sized piece that is a statement piece for a display case or mantel. What you see in the photos is the piece you receive; any known repair, mount or treatment is disclosed above.
