About this specimen
A rounded-looking fluorite form with a purple center sits in front of two taller quartz points. Pale granular growth surrounds its base, with apatite and pyrite included in the recorded mineral association. The ordinary-light photograph shows a narrow upright silhouette and a dark patch near the bottom. Under the alternate lighting in the second view, colored spots become more prominent around the central fluorite. The main crystal outline remains visible across both photographs of this small Wuzhou group. Dimensions: 1.6 × 2.3 × 2.4 cm / 16 × 23 × 24 mm / 0.63 × 0.91 × 0.94 inch. Estimated weight: 9 g / 0.32 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
