About this specimen
Scattered purple cubes punctuate a pale gray-green matrix, with the largest cube standing clearly apart near the upper face. Its darker violet center and lighter outer edges make the square outline easy to follow. Smaller cubes appear around the sides and lower margin. The two photographed angles reveal an irregular, tapered piece whose color is concentrated in individual crystals rather than spread evenly across the host.
