About this specimen
Rounded deep-blue azurite crystals cover the upper half of a bright green malachite base from Chizhou, Anhui. Broad glossy blue faces overlap into a compact mound, while the granular green mineral remains exposed around the lower edge and one side. The alternate view shows smaller blue forms extending toward the rear and the uneven contact between the two copper minerals. Its measured 9.5 g weight comes directly from the source record.
