About this specimen
Clear quartz points extend in several directions around warm tan scheelite crystals. A taller quartz point rises near the back, while shorter, broader points frame the central association. The second photograph reveals scheelite tucked between these clear faces, where its warmer color becomes easier to distinguish. This Yaogangxian specimen has an open, spiky outline rather than a solid block, with changing overlaps as the piece is viewed from different angles. Dimensions: 4.4 × 2.7 × 3.2 cm / 44 × 27 × 32 mm / 1.73 × 1.06 × 1.26 inch. Estimated weight: 74 g / 2.61 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
