About this specimen
Small tan scheelite crystals punctuate a bright white calcite surface. One crystal near the upper center is particularly easy to pick out, while several smaller examples appear lower down among the pale faces. The matrix has a rounded rectangular outline and a slightly recessed central area. Its understated color makes the contrast in crystal shape more important than a dramatic palette, with the warmer scheelite standing apart from the surrounding white growth.
