About this specimen
This one is nicknamed swan-shaped: a golden-yellow aragonite body rises into a neck topped by snow-white aragonite tufts, with the whole thing standing on a small brown matrix. The white tips are fine and fluffy against the smoother yellow base.
Two-tone aragonite from Guizhou in an upright, figurative form; a thumbnail with real character. Handle by the base to protect the white tufts.
