About this specimen
Violet color follows the edges and corners of several fluorite crystals on a pale quartz matrix. Some faces remain much lighter through their centers, giving neighboring crystals different balances of clear-looking and purple areas. The largest violet group sits low on the specimen, with smaller faces extending upward through the middle. A slightly angled view reveals the raised corners and the warm cream-colored quartz between them, producing a narrow vertical arrangement with changing color depth across its surface.
