About this specimen
A low Inner Mongolia specimen listed by the seller at 6.9 × 5.3 × 4.5 cm combines green-coated quartz with glossy dark petal calcite. The calcite blades radiate in dramatic black-brown rosettes across the front, while the reverse exposes paler coating and the rugged quartz matrix. The unusual dark floral habit gives this compact piece a strong sculptural profile from both sides.
