About this specimen
A single glassy fluorite cube with a blue rim and clear core sits near the top of a long grey quartz-druse plate, with a smear of pink rhodochrosite at the right edge and beneath the cube. The plate is 13 cm and stands flat.
Wuzhou's lead-zinc mines in Guangxi are the source of this blue-framed fluorite and rhodochrosite combination; a clean cabinet plate with the colour concentrated in one cube.
