About this specimen
Honey-yellow fluorite cubes cover a gently curved matrix from Huairou, Beijing. Larger transparent cubes gather along the upper edge, while a finer layer of smaller crystals fills the lower surface and gives the piece a continuous sparkle. Warm golden color deepens toward the thicker crystal groups and turns nearly colorless at some thin edges. The low, fan-like silhouette makes the specimen easy to view from the front, while angled photographs show the stepped cubic growth across its uneven top.
Approximate maximum dimensions: 6.5 × 6.5 × 4.5 cm / 65 × 65 × 45 mm / 2.56 × 2.56 × 1.77 inch, estimated from the source diameter and height. Estimated weight: 180 g / 6.35 oz, calculated from the bounding volume.
