About this specimen
Two broad pale calcite forms rise above a dense group of dark galena and sphalerite crystals. Red-brown areas appear between the darker metallic faces, and pale quartz remains visible near the lower base. The larger upper crystals catch clear-looking reflections that contrast with the crowded surfaces underneath. From the angled view, the specimen shows a layered outline with pale projecting forms above the darker, more compact mineral foundation.
