A plate of grey quartz coated in pale pink rhodochrosite in rounded, botryoidal balls that rise to a peak at the centre, the pink soft and matte. The quartz shows at the left edge.
Guangxi botryoidal rhodochrosite with quartz at 7 cm and 56 g; a miniature with gentle colour. Never clean with acid.
