About this specimen
This polished purple fluorite has a smoothly curved freeform outline with one broad rounded end and a narrower extension. Violet color varies across the interior, with lighter cloudy areas and a warmer reddish-purple zone visible through part of the piece. The polished surface produces broad reflections that follow its curved shape. An upright view shows the thin profile near the tapered end and the greater width above, making the worked contour clearly different from an unpolished crystal cluster. Dimensions: 9.2 × 1.6 × 4 cm / 92 × 16 × 40 mm / 3.62 × 0.63 × 1.57 inch. Estimated weight: 61 g / 2.15 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
