About this specimen
A golden-yellow calcite group rises near the center of a pale matrix, with small purple fluorite crystals visible around the sides. The fluorite is scattered across the base rather than forming one continuous purple surface. Several darker violet faces appear close to the lower edge, while the prominent calcite has a more finely textured, upright form. The two photographs emphasize the contrast between the warm central crystal group and the cool purple accents distributed around its supporting matrix. Dimensions: 6 × 4 × 4.5 cm / 60 × 40 × 45 mm / 2.36 × 1.57 × 1.77 inch. Estimated weight: 113 g / 3.99 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
