About this specimen
Broad reflective pyrite faces gather around a small pale quartz group. Dark stibnite is also recorded among the metallic growth, with narrow darker details visible between the larger golden planes. The crystals meet at different angles, creating bright highlights and shaded gaps across the front. The second photograph reveals a taller quartz point behind the metal-rich base and shows the depth of the overlapping faces within this compact Shangbao association. Dimensions: 2.7 × 1.8 × 2.1 cm / 27 × 18 × 21 mm / 1.06 × 0.71 × 0.83 inch. Estimated weight: 16 g / 0.56 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
