About this specimen
Guizhou stibnite at 2.7 cm; a miniature, supplied in the display box shown. Antimony sulphide: handle the specimen whole, keep it away from children and wash hands afterwards.
Stibnite blades bend and tarnish easily, so a bright, undamaged spray is the mark of a good specimen; wash hands after handling.
Guizhou's Qinglong antimony-fluorite district is the classic source for creedite sprays and continues to produce zoned fluorite and calcite.
