About this specimen
A broad purple fluorite face dominates one side of a white quartz-covered matrix. Smaller pale violet crystals gather around it, while rounded white quartz growth frames the upper and outer edges. Fine lines are visible across the larger purple face in the closer photograph. An oblique view reveals additional fluorite below the main crystal and the depth of the surrounding white growth, producing a wide composition with one large colored focal area and several smaller supporting forms. Dimensions: 9 × 3.5 × 6 cm / 90 × 35 × 60 mm / 3.54 × 1.38 × 2.36 inch. Estimated weight: 197 g / 6.95 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
