About this specimen
Bright and sunny is the best description for this Brazilian citrine. The colour is a clean lemon yellow, clear and transparent, and the polish gives it a strong shine.
Inside, rainbows glow with an unusual blue centre ringed by violet and gold, and smaller rainbow patches appear around the top on the opposite face. Fine white rabbit-hair needles are scattered through the quartz in short bright strokes, and a soft white cloud sits low on one side. The colour holds up well in ordinary room light as well as in the sun.
