About this specimen
The blue needles in this citrine point are dense and easy to see: they gather into pyramid shapes inside the clear upper section, including one double-layer pyramid where a smaller peak sits inside a larger one. Under a lamp they shine silvery blue, forming the feathery angel feather pattern.
Beneath the needles a white phantom ridge crosses the crystal, and below that the body warms to a pale gold with peach and orange patches and some internal crackle that catches the light. Small rainbows appear inside when you tilt it. The faces and tip are polished and the material is a lively piece for a desk or display shelf.
