About this specimen
This pale Brazilian citrine keeps its secret until you put a light on it. In ordinary daylight it is a clear, soft yellow sphere with a honey glow where it meets the hand. Under a torch, a blue fog rises inside and subtle blue needles show as fine streaks, with one bright diagonal line where the light catches an internal plane.
Turn it further and you find golden flakes and a white misty veil on one side. The colour is natural and the stone is untreated; it has been polished to a glassy finish. A compact sphere for anyone who likes a crystal that changes with the light.
