About this specimen
Bright lemon-yellow citrine from Brazil, polished into a sphere that is clear enough to read the patterns inside. Fine straight lines cross and branch through the ball, forming angular, script-like marks that look almost like an ancient alphabet, while a looser golden net of inclusions drifts behind them.
Here and there the healed fracture planes catch a small rainbow glint, and deeper areas show flowing veils in a darker honey tone. Close up, with light behind it, the colour can lean towards greenish lemon. The patterns are entirely natural. A video is available showing the markings as the ball turns.
