About this specimen

Stepped emerald cubes climb over one another across the front of this Madagascar specimen, greener toward their cores and paler at the thin edges where the light gets through. The faces are flat but not glassy — a faint satin bloom lies over the green — and darker mineral shadows drift inside the larger crystals. Behind the group the matrix breaks away clean and cream-white.

Cube-on-cube stacking of this kind happens when growth restarts on an existing crystal face: each new cube nucleates slightly offset from the last, and the staircase profile along the top of the group is the record of it. Fluorite is CaF2, hardness 4, with cleavage good enough that edge chips are easy to make and obvious once made, so this is a piece to place carefully and then leave alone.

It measures 10.9 × 5.1 × 7.9 cm and weighs 495 g, heavy enough to sit securely with the crystal face angled forward; no stand is supplied. Every image on this page was made from this single piece.

Frequently asked questions

Will I receive the exact specimen shown?

Yes. Every specimen is a single, one-of-a-kind piece, and the photographs show the exact item you will receive — never a stock photo.

Is this Fluorite natural?

Yes — specimens like this form naturally. As is standard in the trade, some pieces are gently cleaned or trimmed; we photograph the actual specimen and describe its origin and condition conservatively.

How is it packed and shipped?

Orders ship worldwide with fully insured, tracked delivery, carefully packed to protect fragile crystals. A display base is included.

Can I return it?

Yes — there is a 14-day return window.
