About this specimen
There is a whole landscape inside this polished quartz sphere. The first thing you notice is a large cluster of green phantoms so deep in tone it reads almost black, spreading like a storm cloud through the upper half. Smaller dark tufts drift around it, and lower down a golden-brown patch marks the curving yellow phantoms.
Through the clear quartz run countless fine rutile needles in parallel strands, crossing to form the delicate web known as a 'love net'. From the side you can see layered white phantom planes and a long curving veil, and in good light rainbows flare across the lower half.. A rotating video can be provided.
