붉은 팔면체들이 손으로 균형을 잡아 놓은 듯 모서리 위에 모서리를 얹으며 쌓인 탑입니다. 다만 여기에는 사람이 배열한 것이 하나도 없습니다. 이 네이멍구산 형석은 또렷한 팔면체 결정이 자연스럽게 이어진 사슬로 자랐으며, 딸기처럼 붉고 속까지 반투명하며, 가느다란 섬유상 내포물이 빛이 통과할 때 색에 벨벳 같은 깊이를 더합니다.
붉은색은 형석이 지닐 수 있는 가장 드문 색 가운데 하나이며, 이 네이멍구 정동들은 그 붉은색을 결정면이 온전한 자립형 성장 결정으로 내주었습니다. 시중에 흔한 벽개된 팔면체가 아닙니다. 산출 기간은 짧았고 물량도 더는 나오지 않아, 이런 표본은 수집가들 사이에서만 손을 바꾸는 영역으로 꾸준히 옮겨 가고 있습니다.
