About this specimen
Jiangxi stibnite floater at 13 cm and 73 g; a large cabinet spray for the sulfide collector. Very fragile: handle by the base only, wash hands after handling.
Stibnite blades bend and tarnish easily, so a bright, undamaged spray is the mark of a good specimen; wash hands after handling.
Jiangxi is China's tungsten province; its mines have yielded wolframite, scheelite and fluorite specimens of world standard for decades.
By size it is large cabinet, 13 × 9.3 × 7 cm (5.12 × 3.66 × 2.76 in) and 73 g (2.6 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
Every specimen here is photographed and catalogued individually before listing.
