About this specimen
A large skeletal citrine with a quiet, smoky elegance. Its natural colour is pale yellow touched with smoke, and the faces carry a frosted, matte finish crossed by stepped, terraced growth lines, the hallmark of skeletal or elestial quartz. Beneath that frosted skin the crystal is clear, glowing champagne gold when light passes through.
The tall point rises from a broad body, and the piece comes with a carved root-wood stand that echoes its natural character. It is untreated and unpolished, exactly as it formed. A substantial display piece for a sideboard, entrance table or study, and a video is available to show it from all sides.
